Wanda Hernandez

Hi! My name is Mrs. Wanda Hernandez and I’m so excited to be part of the team of the Little Lords and Lady’s Academy. More importantly, I am THRILLED to be a teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of new adventures. I want to know all about you, but first I’ll tell you a little about me.
I was born in New York, but when I was twelve I moved to Puerto Rico with my family. I love my family very much! I studied at the University of Sacred Heart in Santurce, P.R. School for me is so much fun! I am married to a wonderful man and have two great boys: Kenneth who is going to be a firefighter and Kevin who served in the Marine Corps. I am a very proud Mom!
I have taught for 14 years. I started working at my sons Head Start program because they needed help. I LOVED it sooooo much that I decided to become a teacher! I have been a teacher in first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade and sixth grade (just liked saying the word grade). I enjoy teaching very much because I know where you’re coming from and where you need to go. Having the experience at the Elementary level will really help me challenge you to reach for the
