Parenting 101: Magic Words You Have to Teach Your Child
Parents should strive to instill good values into their children. These real-life lessons would serve as their guiding principles as they grow older. It is important for children to be taught as early as possible because then, it becomes easier for them to get accustomed to these. Therefore, enrolling them in a Christian preschool in Florida is greatly beneficial to them.
Child education must be taken seriously. During this stage, children don’t only develop their cognitive skills. They also develop values that they will use as they get older. Although the child’s experiences will help him/her explore these values, the parents are also responsible in guiding them through it all.
Among anything, the value of politeness should be taught to children as soon as they learn to talk. This is a great stepping stone in building strong relationships with others.
If you are a parent, make sure to teach these magic words to your little one:
- “Good morning”, “Good afternoon”, “Good evening”
Teach them to say greetings at whatever time of the day it is.
- “Excuse me”
This shouldn’t just be said when asking permission to pass by but also when interrupting someone.
- “I’m sorry”
Children should learn to apologize, especially when they offend or hurt others.
- “Thank you”
Showing appreciation for someone is better when expressed with words of gratitude.
- “You’re welcome”
The best way to accept gratitude is by showing acceptance of it.
