- Play Color Games
Children are always excited when they play. They can also be engaged more when they are playing. Grab this opportunity to help them identify colors while they are having fun. You can start with color association. Name a particular color while pointing at its sample, and then ask your child to get something with a similar hue.
- Identify Colors Everywhere
In our Christian Preschool in Florida, we put up a very colorful classroom. We recognize that being familiar with colors everywhere helps a child to easily identify the correct color in the long run. Even when you’re at the grocery, you can describe a cucumber, for instance, with its color.
